You always reminded me of my grandma with your witty personality, it always gave me so much comfort when you were around. Your presence truly lit up the room. I know Dave was waiting for you with open arms. You will be missed very much.

Whenever  we would meet, Lorene gave a warm welcoming smile and hugs, we remember the yearly BBQ at the Burbank house, being treated like family, as well as the many other occasions.
Looking back at photos, both Bob and Lorene came to our house 
to celebrate Kristina's 1st Birthday, even sat with her to take a picture. Simply a loving couple. 

My dear friend Lorene,
  I am going to miss you so much but I find peace knowing that you are  now in heaven with those who were waiting for you. We remained friends through our senior years and they were wonderful years. One of my favorite memories was us  two grandmothers being in your convertible  getting noticed and you'd just smile and wave at them.   We loved to talk on the phone. We had the same values and loved our families  deeply. We enjoyed discussing our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren along with our concern for each other. We always made sure to end each call with a laugh, one that always lifted my spirit.  Now my friend I'm going to miss those calls but remember them with a smile and knowing that soon I will see you again.

Dear Gramie, I'm so sad you had to go to heaven.  I will miss you coming over and watching me swim and rating my splashes outside on the swing.  Thank you for always keeping me company in the mornings when you slept over, it was always fun hanging out with you. I'm going to miss making  yogurt parfaits with you for breakfast. You are very special to me and I am thankful you were my great grandma. I will always miss you

My sweet little Gramie,
        My heart aches at the thought of you no longer being a phone call away. Words can't describe how much I miss you. One thing you always taught me is to just take life as it comes, and to always be thankful for what I have, so I'm doing just that. I'm beyond thankful to of had you as my Gramie. You gave me some of the hardest laughs I've ever had. I'll never forget the time we made ice cream cones on the cruise and it flew all over everyone the second we walked outside in the wind. Your energy would light up a room, and you were always everyone's favorite. You brought such love and happiness to Gianni too. I want you to know how much of a positive impact you made in my life. You were such an amazing woman and will always have a special place in my heart. I will forever cherish the memories we made, and the kindness you brought into mine and my son's life. I know you are in heaven with papa and my brother watching over all of us from heaven.

I loved hearing about your day and how you were. I will forever miss our conversations, and funny stories you and I shared. I am so thankful that you were a part of my life for as long as you were. To my sweet Gramie,
To say that I am going to miss you is an understatement. You were a 2nd mom to me my whole life, especially once you moved in with mom and dad after Papa passed away. I am so thankful that we were so close and that God chose you to be my Gramie. We have so many wonderful memories; from great music and cold beer to going down south and spending time with the family. I wish you were able to watch my kids grow up but I know you’ll be the best guardian angel they could ever have. We love you so much!

You were the best Gramie anyone can have and I am so grateful to have had you as my Great Grandmother. I remember when my husband was alive we would be coming across the yard to talk to Debbie and Den and Lorene was sitting on the front porch on the glider and I would say hello and my husband would say Hello Miss Lorene and they would have a nice conversation. My husband adored her and so did I. I wish I could have those conversations again. I had the greatest time with you in the Florida keys. Those dog gone roosters. Miss Lorene I know you are happy now but I know you miss your family. But they have beautiful memories of you which they will have in their hearts forever. Miss you and until we meet again.
