I was so sorry to hear of Linda Sue passing. I am her baptismal godmother Mary Ann Bruch Shrader. My brother Tom and I are her baptismal Godparents. I have some pictures of Linda Sue I would like to give her family. A nice one of her First Holy Communion.  


To Mary Ann Bruch Shrader: Sue, as I called my friend, is the third child and third daughter of Mary Lou and Eloy. Mark is the sixth, third son, of the seven Nunez children in this family.

I think my brother Tom Bruch and I were godparents to Linda Sue for her baptism. Were Mary Lou and Eloy her parents and they worked at the Furniture Mart in Chicago at 666 N. Lake Shore Drive.  I just came upon some pictures of Linda Sue, and a baby picture of Mark Eloy born August 7, 1970. Linda Sue had two older sisters. Please let me know if this is the Linda Sue Nunez .

Joey, Roxy, Ethan, Maria, Mariah, and Rosie - we are all so sad about Aunt Susie.  She was a great friend, neighbor and Aunt to all - and took care of our block like a hawk. She watched over all of us.   She will be missed.

Deepest condolences to the loved ones left behind.

Susie was beautiful all around inside and out.  You could always have a good time when she was around and she could always make you laugh. You just have to read her Facebook posts to understand what I mean.  She could be feisty one minute and have you laughing the next.  One of her strongest attributes is how she cared for others.  It was amazing how compassionate she was at times with being so selfless.  Always wanting to help everyone else before herself. Always thinking of others just because.  Her strong will to fight any obstacle in her way was astounding.  She was the true definition of a strong woman.  There were a few things in her life that were so ultimately important to her.  One, being her familya treasure she always cherished.  She loved us all whole heartedly and enjoyed our moments together.  Simply stated, she would do anything and everything for us. Two, being her friends.  She was grateful for the people that supported and helped her when she needed it.  She appreciated all the fun times with them. Three, being her workThe Chicago Police Department was her life.   She was very passionate about her fellow Police Officers.  And four, being her Fiestaware!  We will all never have enough of it but we wouldn't have it any other way.  Our hearts are full of broken pieces and we will extremely miss her.  But please remember all the good times you have shared with her.  She would have wanted that to keep her memory alive.  How can we possibly forget someone who gave us so much to remember?  She will forever be in our hearts with love until we meet again.

Such a dear and loving friend, who gave her whole heart to those she loved. I will miss my friend whom I loved like a sister. She gave me so much love and we had wonderful times always. My prayers and love to her family.
