Hi Dad,
It took me me 7 years to finally accept that you’re  gone.  I miss you so much and think about the laughs we had along the way.  I truly wanted you to come to Phoenix with us and it broke my heart when you decided not to.   You were the only one who made me feel loved while I was growing up.  You worked with me on my school work and taught me more about the history of WW2 than my teachers did. Which of course earned me the rep of being a rebel rouser which you stood beside me and told the truth that I was right because you lived it.   I have never forgotten you and I never will I miss you with all my heart and think of you all the time. I know I will see you again one day but please know in the meantime I  miss you with all my heart. 

It's been many years since we last saw each other but many fond memories of times spent together.  You will always hold a special place in my heart.  Thanks for the many laughs we shared until we laugh again. I'm sure your busy telling those funny stories and jokes to those you haven't see in a while.  Farewell POC

One of my favorite memories is making potato sausage, singing "Silver Bells" together. I have always thought of you each time I hear the song, and always will remember fondly. I'll miss you, Grandpa.

I will miss my little Gus taking him to bowling every week and having great conversations. He had a great sense of humor and a beautiful heart.  I'll miss you my friend until we meet again ??

I wish I could be there to pay my respects.  He was a wonderful man and I know he will be missed.  He enjoyed life.  My thoughts and prayer are with the family.

I love you and miss you Poc. Thank you for everything you did for me. Rest in Peace...
