Kenolyn C. Johnston, 79, of Naperville, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born on November 8, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Ralph and Anna (Ferguson) Cowan. She was united in marriage to Walter Johnston for 50 years and the couple raised two sons, Michael and Chris.
Kenolyn was a lifelong book-lover, and was a librarian at Naperville North High School, District 203. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and genealogy.
Kenolyn is survived by her husband, Walter S. Johnston; and two sons, Christopher W. and Michael S. Johnston.
Funeral Services are pending at this time. Interment will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 S Central Ave., Oak Lawn.
