John Ruscak, age 87, of Oak Forest, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

John is loving husband to the late Dorothy Ruscak; beloved father to Lou Ann (Kurt) Dobrocky; proud grandfather to Alexis and Will Dobrocky.

John arrived in the United States at age 15, upon finishing his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served. He retired as a foreman, after 30 years of service with the American Can Company. John was a faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church. He and his wife enjoyed bowling, polka and poker. John also enjoyed biking and walking.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 3:00- 9:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 West 103rd St.; Oak Lawn, IL 60453). Prayer services will be at 9:30 am, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery (3401 West 87th Street; Evergreen Park, IL 60805) at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 14, 2019.
