John A. Cook, age 70, of Oak Lawn, IL, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. He is survived by his loving sons: Robert (Jeannette) Palumbo and Russell (Tara) Palumbo; adored grandchildren: Alexandria, Mia, Carmelo and Avery Palumbo; dear sister, Barbara Kirchman and former wife, Susan Cook. John is also survived by numerous dear friends and family.
Preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence and Elizabeth Cook; son, Michael Cook and precious grandson, Rocco Palumbo.
John or “Cookie” as his friends and family knew him, delivered for Nabisco for 20+ years. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his beloved grandchildren. John proudly traveled across the United States attending all of their sporting events. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
