Joanne is the loving mother to Susan (Mike) Berardi, Jim (Karen) Wagner, David Wagner, Thomas (Cindi) Wagner, the late Ann Marie Wagner, Lisa Pelate, and Patty Japcon; cherished grandmother to Matthew, Jake, Alex, Justin, Ryan, Brittany, Elizabeth, Brenden, and Cole; identical twin sister to Jeanne (Jack) Murphy; aunt to many.
Joanne attended Harper College for her Registered Nursing degree while raising her family, and later graduated from University of St. Francis and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse at Christ Advocate Hospital and finished her career on the cardiac floor. Joanne enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 3:00-9:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W. 103rd Street; Oak Lawn, IL 60453). Funeral services will be Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to American Heart Association or Ronald McDonald House near Christ Advocate Hospital, Oak Lawn, IL.
