Glenn Louis Schneider Sr. born in 1961 in Killarney, Manitoba peacefully transitioned to eternal life on 12/27/2020 at age 59 surrounded by his immediate family at home after an honorable and courageous fight with bladder cancer. He was always a fighter, even from a young age, and he sure fought the good fight.
Glenn Schneider lives on in the hearts of his loyal wife, Nancy, beloved children Glenn Jr. (Lily), Kelly (Donald Jr.), Mary (Travis), Sara (Frank), blessed grandkids Rose, Donald III, Theodin, Ezran and 2 more on the way. He is the cherished son of the late Roy survived by wife Barb and late Donna (Mel), compassionate brother Dean (Kate), and deceased brothers Paul and Wayne.
Living on the wild side, he sure lived life to the fullest while remaining deeply rooted in his faith and family. He is sorely missed by many, many friends and family who loved him for being a great man, Dr. Schneider, and go-to Mr. Fix-It, whose claim to fame is he can fix anything but a broken heart.
Services are arranged at St. Christina preceeding burial at Holy Sepulchre. A future life celebration is expected when we enter a season of social safety.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Christmas without Cancer, a local charity that supported him in his battle with cancer.
We are following the guidelines of the State of Illinois and CDC. During this time, all services are for immediate family members only limited to 10 people.
