Gerald Gene Kessler, Sr., age 68, formerly of Markham and Midlothian. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Viet Nam War in France and Germany, passed away on November 9, 2014. Beloved husband of LaHoma "Okie", nee Dial. Loving father of Jennifer (Salvatore) Manno, Gerald G., Jr. "Jerry" (Aleida) and Christopher (Michelle) Kessler. Proud grampa of Vincent and Victoria Manno, Dominique, Amanda, Kaitlyn and Brooke Kessler. Dearest brother of Randy Kessler. Dear brother-in-law of Daivd Dial, Sr., Visitation Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn. Services and Interment private.
