George Bowers, age 70, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Beloved husband of Charlene nee (Hartfield); loving father of Tina (Ron), Torry, Timothy (Andrea) Bowers and the late Tracey Marie. Proud grandfather of Steven CPD, Hayley, Kylee, Taylon and Tenley. Proud great grandfather of Grayson. Fond uncle and cousin of many.
George retired from the City of Chicago’s Aviation Dept. He loved spending time with his family. Especially with his cherished grandchildren. George will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Rev. Ryan Brady officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre.
