Gary Hasty

Gary Hasty, age 65, of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021. Gary was born June 1, 1956. Loving husband of 37 years to Laura (nee Davidson) Hasty; Beloved father to Joey (Shellby), David (Ashley), Daniel (Allison), and Dennis (Kaylene) Hasty; Cherished Grandfather to Lauren, Reagan, Luke, Zoey, Lainey, and a new grandson who's still on the way; Dear brother to Kathy Peterson, James Hasty, Richard (Dawn) Hasty, Brian (Sylvia) Hasty, and Judy (Ed) Roche; Brother-in-law to Rose Moran, George (Janice) Davidson, Elizabeth (Daniel) Martin, David (Christina) Davidson, and James (Christine) Davidson; Gary was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Mary Hasty, as well as his in-laws Philip and Virginia Davidson.

Gary studied architecture and obtained a degree from the University of Texas where he went on to have a career of 40 years working in construction. The last 15+ years of his career he spent as a devoted project manager for Construction Solutions of Illinois.

A visitation for Gary will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10:00am at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 4107 W. 107th Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 (the church requests no one parks in front of the homes and please use the North parking lot). Interment to immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Street, Alsip, IL 60805.

No outside food or drinks allowed, mask are required at all times.
