Dennis was my neighbor. He was always ready and willing to help, especially when he saw me doing something crazy in the garden. I appreciated his help and strength. Because  he was a walker,  he would sometimes ride with me to the store and he always had a fun story to tell. Dennis was kind. I'll miss him.

Dennis was a good friend of mine growing up in Chicago.  Dennis had a great sense of humor and a real gift of being able to make people laugh. I remember telling Dennis that he should have been a professional comedian. Dennis was "the life of the party" hanging out on Maplewood. I have many great memories of past times with Dennis and I am very thankful for his friendship. The laughter and joy that he brought people was a true blessing and something that we need a lot more of in this world. My thoughts and prayers are with the Family and friends during this sad time.

Me, Denis and Kyle. We were like the three amigos. We were very much inseparable when we were kids. Denis and I got into a lot of trouble together, we also did a lot of good together. The one thing I do remember is when anyone of us was put in jail. Denis would go around the neighborhood waking up everyone we knew to get bail money.

Our thoughts & prayers are with family and friends at this sad time. We have fond memories of Dennis in times past from the old neighborhood (61st & Maplewood).
