Devoted father of Michael (Linda), Maureen Covey, Kathleen (David) Carden, Jeanne (Christopher) Hamaker, Deborah (Lawrence) Chlum and Joann (Dennis) Feldges. Proud grandfather of 22. Great grandfather of 3. Dearest son of the late Joseph and Bridget, nee Reynolds. Loving brother of Margaret (the late Robert) McCarthy, Gladys (the late William) Sawallisch and the late Kathleen (the late Leonard) Goddard. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 AM from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3:00 – 9:00 PM. David was a navigator in the Army Air Force and flew over 30 missions in the South Pacific. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital will be appreciated.
