Christine and I were cousins, only 3 months apart, her being older! Since the rest of the cousins were boys, Christine and I would spend a lot of time together at the Stasiak  family parties and picnics. I also recall sleepovers at her home in Maywood, one time painting bird models. I was honored to be a bridesmaid when she married Bob. 
I wish that we could have gotten together more often as both our families grew.
Christine  certainly loved her family and was , in turn, loved by them.
As the song played at  her wedding said, Let there be peace on Earth, and may Christine be at peace in heaven.

Remembering cousin Christine today and the fun and laughter we shared as young children when we were neighbors on Rockwell St. in Chicago.  Sadly, we lost touch as adults and only saw each other occasionally.  I took the name Christine when I made my confirmation as an adult.  I'm not sure she knew this.  She has a wonderful loving family which is a tribute to both her and Bob and who will miss her dearly.  May she Rest In Peace.

My mom was an EXCELLENT cook! Some of my favorite recipes are her famous Polish Sausage and Sauerkraut, and of course her amazing Lasagna from scratch. Even though she was such a good cook, she would often do unexplainable things to "enhance" the flavor when she would eat.  For example - she would put ketchup on pretty much everything. Who puts ketchup on Polish sausage??!! Love you mom - and thanks for all your great recipes and laughs we shared.

Christine was a wonderful woman, and it was my privilege to have known her for 20 years. She and her husband Bob, who was a great guy, raised two really good people, Jason and Valerie. We were fortunate to have Jason come into our Family when he married our daughter.
I will always have fond memories of Christine & Bob and they will be in my prayers.

One of my favorite memories - and one that many may not know, is just how helpful and involved my mom was during one of our more challenging times. When my wife Erika was pregnant and on bed rest with Livi, mom was still working full time at St. Ann, in Lansing, IL. She would teach 8 hours at school, and then drive to our house in Homewood to help Erika. She would cook, clean, play with Kylie, and play with Mulder (our pup). Where did she find the energy??!! She did this tirelessly and without complaint, day after day - all so that I could continue working a second job to support the family while Erika healed. Years later, I would remind my mom how important that was, how much it meant to us. And of course she would say, “Oh - that’s ok. You’re welcome.” A testament to just how selfless a woman she was, how much she never required or wanted the spotlight. I am really going to miss her - but these memories keep her close to my heart and always in my thoughts. Love you, mom!! Thank you for giving me a wonderful life, and for ALWAYS being there to help!
