Aurora Roman

Loving Mother of Aurora Roman and David (Allie) Roman. Cherished Grandmother of Javi, Valentina and Eva Roman, dear Sister of Otilia (Jorge) Martinez Garcia, Cesar (Diana) Martinez, Gaspar (Blanca) Martinez and Juanita Martinez. Fond Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Aurora Salazar and Gaspar Martinez, and her brother Santos Martinez.

Aurora was a devoted mother, grandma and friend. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and grandchildren. She also loved to go shopping at outlet malls and boutique stores, taking care of people and animals. She regularly attending rosary novenas, bible study, and lastly playing bingo with her friends. Aurora will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her contagious laugh. There was never an event Aurora where she did not have a plate of food or hostess gift in her hands. Aurora cared more about others than herself.

Join us in remembering this amazing woman on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. A wake will be held Friday, December 1st, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00 am at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. A chapel service to start promptly at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois.
