Arlene Olson (née Slota), age 88, loving wife of the late Jim; dear sister of Ed (Carole) Slota; beloved mother of Scott (Lynette), the late Jeff (Renee), and Cathy (Jerry) George; cherished grandmother of 8. Arlene, as was her way, fought the good fight and finished her race. She was a 25 year employee of Nabisco and devoted super fan of all the teams that her children and grandchildren represented, traveling many miles over the years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3rd 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn followed by a procession to St. Linus Church, 10300 S. Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn for a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Interment Private.
