Albert J Prokop

Albert J. Prokop, age 95 of Chicago. Passed away on March 18, 2023. He is a United States Korean War Army Veteran, member of the American Legion and proud supporter of America’s veterans, as well as a retired employee for Continental and US Can Manufacturing.

Albert is the beloved husband of the late Dolores. Loving father of Christine (Thomas) Safford, Noreen Sleeman and Debra (the late Thomas) Gauger. Beloved son of the late Jennie and James Prokop. Proud grandfather of Christopher Sleeman, Deena Martin, Alexa (Josh) Habegger and Heather (Mike Anderson) Sleeman. Great grandfather of Christopher Jr., Brayden, Logan, Aubrey, Hailey, Maggie, K.J., and Leila. Dear brother, uncle and friend of many.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation to be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 from 3PM to 8PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 4727 West 103rd Stree, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453 (708) 636-1193.

Family and friends will also gather on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 for an 11AM graveside service DIRECTLY at Bohemian National Cemetery, 5255 North Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois 60630.
