George S. Hawkins (78) born in September of 1937, passed away January 6th, 2016. Beloved husband of Sharon Hawkins for 45 years, and father of Matthew C. and Daniel E. George retired from the US Navy and then worked Boeing until retiring. George enjoyed building models and flying kites with the Whidbey Island Kite Flyers. George is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lillian Hawkins. George will be greatly missed by the family he leaves behind; his wife Sharon; Sons Matthew and Daniel; Brothers Robert and Clifford; and many friends. Memorial Services will be held Saturday January 16th, 2016, 3pm at Living Hope Foursquare Church – 105 NW Broadway Ave Coupeville, WA.
