On the morning of January 22, 2024, Wayne Kacher, Sr. passed away peacefully. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Ann Kacher; devoted father of Laurie Kacher, Wayne Kacher and his wife Holly, and Michael Kacher and his wife Cindy Kacher; loving grandfather of Matthew Turner, Cody Turner and his wife Kelsey, Hunter Shanty, Logan Shanty, Nicole Kacher, Kyle Kacher and his wife Hailey, Payton Kacher, and Paige Kacher; loving great-grandfather of Brent Turner, Aislin Kacher-Frasier, and Indie Kacher-Kentrose.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD, 21236, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne’s name to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation at www.cbf.org.
