On January 20, 2025 Valerie "Val" Mehl (nee Mitchell) passed away. She was the beloved wife of Joe Mehl; devoted mother of Nicole "Nikki" Willig and her husband Martin, and Melissa Fleischer and her husband Corey; cherished grandmother of Devin, Ryan, Aidan, Camden, Kaleb, Liam, Lucas, and Lucy; beloved daughter of the late Lucy and Daniel Mitchell; loving sister of Donna and the late Daniel, Jr.; favorite aunt of Krysta and Jay, Nathan, Khloe, and Jilly; dear sister-in-law of Karen and Steve, and Robby.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 3-7 PM, where a Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 PM. Interment private. Please help the family celebrate Val's life by wearing something colorful especially her favorite color purple or sparkles.
