Theresa Mary Palughi

Theresa Mary Palughi (nee Colaianni), age 89, of Parkville, MD, passed away on December 18, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Donald John Palughi, Sr.; devoted mother of Donald John Palughi, Jr. and his wife Christina, and Jacqueline Ann Clancy and her husband Kevin, Sr.; loving grandmother of Katelyn Palughi and her husband Mark Tucci, Samantha Palughi, Kevin Clancy, Jr. and his wife Amy, Kelly Clancy, Kayla Clancy and her fiancé Nathan Raver, and Gabrielle Clancy; cherished great-grandmother of Jameson Tucci, Charlotte Clancy, Jackson Clancy, and Caroline Clancy; dear sister of Josephine Marinelli and her late husband Salvatore, and Angelo Colaianni and his late wife Mary; beloved sister-in-law of Louise Vasta, Mary Belcastro, and the late Rose Orbino and their families. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10:30 A.M, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 9215 Old Harford RD, Parkville, MD 21234. Entombment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s name to Gilchrist Hospice at www.gilchristcares.com. Please designate donations to be made to the Maple Team or the Palliative Care Team.
