Ruth A. Johnson

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, Ruth A. Johnson (nee Betz) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Johnson; devoted mother of the late Vernon Nethkin and his wife Gloria, Gordon Nethkin and his wife Connie, and Carol Mende and her husband Gary; dear sister of Edward Betz Jr. and his wife Thelma; loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236) on Monday, September 24, 2018, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Zion Evangelical Lutheran U.C.C. Cemetery.
