Ronald “Ron” Ralph Stewart Vardy, age 74, of Airville, PA passed away on September 19, 2023. He was the devoted brother of Gloria Patterson and her husband Jim Patterson; beloved significant other of Loretta Bencomo; cherished step-brother of Dr. Margaret Chesney and her husband Dr. David Anderson; dear uncle of Alita Yarneth, and Erika Yarneth-Trout and her husband Michael Trout. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 2 P.M. to 4:30 P.M., with a memorial service to begin at 4:30 P.M. Interment services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
