On May 7, 2022, Paul Roland Weitzel, Sr. passed away at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia Weitzel (nee Roche); devoted father of Robin Curran and her husband Phil, Bonnie DiMarino and her husband Lou, and the late Paul Weitzel, Jr.; loving grandfather of Megahn Rineman and Mike DiMarino; cherished great-grandfather of Danielle DiMarino, Kast French, and Aurora Rineman; dear brother of Irene Weitzel. Predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Paul served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 12PM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
