Scott still inspires me. He was such a generous soul and a renaissance man. He would share his honest opinion and respect others’ views that were different from his own. I am so grateful to have worked with him, I know he’s hamming it up in heaven. 

The staff members at Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna are very saddened to hear of Scott's passing.  He was an instrumental volunteer supporting our Repair Program and  helped many low-income seniors, veterans, and others with their critical home repairs. We were so grateful for his caring manner, can-do attitude, and handyman talents. Our sympathies and thoughts go to his family and friends.

                                                         'Maryland's Opening Act to the Stars'

          Scott & I performed together for at least 20 years. He was a very good musician. My favorite story is when we opened for Sha NaNa at Painters Mill Star Theater. The venue- Gene & Cruisers / a Magician / then Sha NaNa. Problem: A girl to be "sawed" in half by the Magician, had to wait 'hidden' in the 'saw box' for an extra 30 mins. while we performed. Scott-ever the prankster, walked up to the box, knocked on it 3 times and said out loud..."Hey, how you doing in there"? The audience snickered. Needless to say- The Magician & The 'saw girl' were not amused.
             Scott & I decided we were best friends. Sometime later, we got into a serious disagreement.  I saw him one more time when he stopped into my office. I was feeling 'self-important' in that stage of my life. Not so good. I was aloof and unkind. A Mistake to be certain. I never saw him again.
              I'm different now, I hope. I will miss my friend Scott.

Scott was such a dedicated volunteer. He could solve and repair any problem, with a simple, inexpensive solution. I learned so much from him. He was funny, humble, clever, talented, and dedicated.  He was such wonderful human being.  The world has lost a good guy. I am keeping Sandi and his family in my thoughts and prayers. My deep condolences. 

Men’s Breakfasts, Small Group, his unique laugh and his love for Sandy. I remember all of that like it was yesterday. But what I cherish the most is Scott helping me (meaning he was doing it) finish my basement. Sure it was a great joy to watch him practice his craft right in front of me, but better yet was the time we shared and the conversations had. 

Our fondest memory of both Scott and Sandi are how they warmly opened their home to us as new Christ followers.   They both played an important role in our early journey as members of our small group.  I remember how simple and easy he was to get to know.  Loved fishing and woodworking and was good at both.  He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family.  Rest in peace, Steve and Jo
