Mary Hartman Ayres

On January 31, 2019, Mary Hartman Ayres passed away peacefully at Gilchrist Hospice. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Ayres; devoted mother of Robert N. Ayres and his companion Roberta Henderson, Elizabeth Ayres Pollack and her husband Michael, David J. Ayres and his wife Lisa, and Joseph M. Ayres and his wife Linda; loving grandmother of Rachel and Gregory Pollack, D. Zachary Ayres, Jordan Ayres-Hulings, Rose M. McKew, and R. Spencer Ayres; cherished great-grandmother of Lilah McKew and Lachlan Ayres-Hulings; sister of the late Robert Hartman.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 11am to 12pm; at which time a funeral service will begin at 12pm. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to Gilchrist Hospice 11311 McCormick Rd., Ste. 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
