On July 1, 2015, Margaret “ Peggy” (nee Thye) Smith, beloved wife of the late Dr. Walter C. Smith, Jr.; mother of Rev. Dr. Bruce W. Smith, David W. Smith and his wife Terri and Thomas A. Smith, grandmother of Mitchell, Chelsea, Heather, Alex, Danielle and Devin; dear sister of the late Jack and Frank Thye.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd) on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Viewing at the Oak Crest Chapel on Monday from 10 to 10:30 am at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment to follow at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Towson United Methodist Church or to the Benevolent Care Fund of Oak Crest, 8800 Walther Blvd., Parkville, MD 21234.
