On February 2, 2021, Kendall Elizabeth Gunther (nee Baker); beloved wife of Bradley George Gunther; loving daughter of Cheryl and Barry Baker; daughter-in-law of Beth and George Gunther; dear sister of Spencer Baker and wife Allie, and their daughter Emma; sister-in-law of Tyler Gunther and wife Lindsey, and Meghan Gunther. Also survived by loving extended family and friends.
Kendall was an amazing soul who lit up every single room that she walked into. She was a shining star with so much positive energy no matter the situation. She made instant friends wherever she went. If she loved you, she put everything she had into you and was always worried about you instead of worrying about herself. She truly was selfless. She was an angel sent by God to warm every soul she could. From her childhood in Texas where she made numerous friends across all circles, to loving her Mom, Dad, Brother, and her sister-in-law unconditionally. She truly found herself at Camp Sweeney and loved every second of it. She fell in love with fashion and would never turn down a good sale. She loved going on mission trips and helping others who were not as fortunate as her. She was determined to finish everything even if it took her a little longer or as we all know it the Kendall way. One of her proudest moments was graduating from college at the University of North Texas. While completing that degree she met a boy who was a Yankee, even though that boy would always remind people that he was born below the Mason Dixon in Maryland. They almost instantly fell in Love. It was a love so pure that no one could explain, she ended up following this boy to Maryland which became her second home. She loved her husband with every single piece of her soul. She was instantly adopted by her husband's family, her Mother-in-law, Father-in-law, her brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law who really need the in-law title. She was instantly welcomed by all her husband's friends and became apart of our circle, where she just wasn't her husband's wife but a true independent member of the friends. When the major sickness started in 2016, she was always an optimist and did not stop fighting. God gave us two miracles that allowed her to continue to be in our lives for four extra years that none of us will forget. She did not lose the war, she won the war and brightened all our lives every day. To everyone that she loved, she will always be a piece of you. We appreciate all of the support we have received from thousands around the world and the stories you all have been sharing about her. She would want all of us to remember the happy times and the happy memories and to continue to be happy and to love each other. She will be missed by so many, a void that will never be filled even if she would want us to. We love her and will always love her to Infinity and Beyond.
