On May 23, 2016 Joan Fisher (nee Hartley) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin V. Fisher; devoted mother of Carol “Bunny” Forwood and her husband Tom; cherished grandmother of Barbara A. Heavel and her husband Melvin “Butch”, and Charles Forwood and his wife Michelle; loving great-grandmother of Brandi Heavel and Brittney Heavel; dear sister of Daniel E. Hartley and his wife Carol. Joan Fisher owned Mockinbird Hill Florist for 25 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9PM, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
