Jane Marie Lewis, age 65, of Towson, Maryland passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, beloved wife of Thomas Martin Lewis; devoted mother of Rachel Marie and Benjamin Thomas Lewis and his fiancée Anna Ecker, and the late Jesse Thomas Lewis; dear sister of Joanne Hullihen, Rose Troutman, Gus Zorn, Dennis Zorn, Sylvia Zorn and the late Beverly Coker Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Zorn.
Jane cherished her many years working with the students and staff at Calvary Lutheran School as a School Aide. After she committed her life to Jesus in 1984, she enjoyed praying and watching Jesus transform the lives of others. She treasured her family and was a true, honest, and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed annual vacations at Fenwick Island, DE and cheering for the Ravens, the Orioles and the Terps. She was an active member of Community Christian Church. She delighted in all kinds of flowers, especially Alstroemeria, lilacs and African violets.
A Receiving of Friends for Jane will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, (Nottingham) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Community Christian Church, 8009 Corporate Drive, Nottingham, MD 21236 at 11 am on Thursday, November 3, 2022 with internment to follow.
