Dear Marylee and family, 
On behalf of all the nurses that took care of Mr Denis those many months, we were so  sad to hear of his passing. I never had the opportunity of knowing him before his illness, but there are just some souls whose strength of spirit and resilience shine through despite whatever limitations are placed upon them. Mr. Denis was one of those spirits. Nursing can be a thankless job, but every once in a while a patient comes along that reminds you why you became a nurse. I will always remember both you and Mr. Denis for your courage, faith, and determination and for reminding me that love can be more restorative than any medicine a doctor can prescribe.  May God bless you Mr. Denny on your journey ahead. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I'm Denny's sister--just about 18 mos older than him and he was truly the best!
He loved life & reached out to so many to enjoy it with him. Denny met so many people on his journey and they were all the better for the experience.  He loved to joke around, had a great sense of humor but never belittled anyone. I loved him and he was my best friend even tho he probably didn't know it!

Dear Marylee and family,

I did not know Denny well but have gotten to know Marylee well over the last year. When I looked at the wonderful pictures, it is very apparent that Denny loved his wife and family very much. He had a bright smile on his face in every picture. My prayers go out to all of you at this difficult time. Cherish the memories.

We will dearly miss our friend Den, aka Mr Issue, Ben Den and Harold. For the last 15 years or more, we have shared golf, sports events of all stripes, meals, trips, family events and laughter. We will miss your sunny disposition, your generosity, your vast energy, Den, and your ability to snooze anywhere, in a nanosecond. We'll remember Cong, the bahrain and the penny whistle, and Ballybunion in a pouring rain.  And Sanibel. And all those apple fritters. The memories just keep coming. As they will for years to come. 
Thanks for all of them, Den. You will always be remembered with love and laughter.

Denny was a wonderful man.  He loved coming to Jake's lacrosse games at Fallston Rec and CHC.  We loved to see his smiling face at the games. As someone else said, " Eternally missed, but never forgotten."  We are so sorry for your loss.

One of the finest gentleman, that I have ever known, Deny has been my friend since we met at Calvert Hall. His untiring dedication to the Hall and the Friendly Sons will always be remembered. Denny was in my class of 57. I am sorry for his family's loss. I have a vivid memory of him in our school days, he always had a warm smile on his face, as if he was amused by the every day happenings at CHC. I saw him, many years later at class reunions and he still had that great smile. I won't mourn his passing as I believe he is at a place we all aspire to go to. Rest in peace Denny.

Marylee and family. We are so sorry to hear about Denis. We had a lot of enjoyment at Washington College with the boys. He sure loved his lacrosse. But, not as much as his wife and family. You all are in out prayers.

Denny and I worked together for almost forty years.   We were wonderful friends and he was a great employee.  We travelled and played golf in a lot of great places, he will be missed.  He was a great family man and we all loved him.
