I am just reading about the loss of Gail.  I remember when she first moved in the neighborhood.  She was a great softball player and a wonderful friend.  A life gone to soon.  My heart goes out to the family.   

Gail's niece was my best friend growing up so she became my Aunt Gail, too. She always made me feel like part of the family and I loved how close everyone was. My deepest condolences to Rob, Ryan and Rachel. She was wonderful and I'm so sad to hear of her passing.

I met Gail through my son, Ryan, who lives with Rachel and Brooklyn. Several years ago I was planning to come from Colorado to see Ryan’s new home and meet Rachel and Brooklyn. I wanted to make it a surprise and Gail and I struck up an email friendship making plans for me to come. When I met her in person I found her endearing and charming. Such a wonderful person! We continued our friendship long after I returned home, exchanging cards and letters, emailing and sharing our lives with one another. 
I know all who knew her will miss her.


I went all through my school years with Gail and her brother Marvin. I remember them both being gifted athletes and good people. I lost touch with Gail over the years, but heard wonderful stories about her through folks who patronized her hair salon. God has you now Gail!

To the entire family,
Each of us that had the pleasure of having Gail in our lives was truly blessed.  She was an angel here on earth.
Sending all of you a huge hug, because that is what your Mom, Grandmother, and Sister did for all of us on occasions that we needed one.
Gail cut mine and my mom's hair over the years and was an amazing friend as well.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Hold tight to your loved ones because as we now know life is way too short.

Gail and I met at Rosedale Elementary School many years ago. She and I had so much fun growing up and always playing our sports. She always had the most gentle smile. We later kept in touch through cards or on the phone. Heaven has certainly gained an Angel!! My thoughts and prayers go out to the Nester and Callinan families🙏 

I was so sorry to hear of your passing. 
 Gail cut my hair for many years at her shop than later on at 36th Street Station. Such a sweet soft spoken lady.  I remember getting you coffee at the Farm Store more than half the cup had to have French Vanilla Creamer, lots of great stories we shared.

I worked for Gail at her shop, she was a great, fun boss. Later when we all moved to Janet"s shop she was a wonderful co-worker. She was such a fun person, there were many times we all got together outside of work and always had really good times. This was such a shock and I will miss you Gail.

and adult memories. Most of all, I'm grateful for having the
privilege of being there for you these past couple of years
and the quality time spent with you, it broke my heart to have
it end, I'll forever love and miss you, rest in peace. 

Gail was my hairdresser for many years starting when she had her own shop Creative Cuts and Curls after she sold her place she went to 36th Station with Janet.  After she left there she actually did my hair at her house at least twice.  Gail also cut my moms hair and after my mom had her stroke and was unable to go to the shop Gail would go to my moms house and do her hair. Gail was the sweetest and had the prettiest smile.  Gail would always like to listen to my life's stories while doing my hair.  Gail loved her children and grandchildren.  Heaven gained a beautiful soul

Gail you will be missed so much. I remember you growing up playing ball and the shenanigans you and my sister Vicky got into. I have yet to find someone that can cut my hair like you did. I remember you full of energy and a smile on your face all the time. One of my fondest memories is the cruise you and I went on. You love the casino but you left every day to have dinner with us.  Another angel in heaven that's you.
