Frank Martin Schmidt, Sr, age 96, of Parkville, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Katherine Pasquinelli Schmidt; devoted father of Frank M. Schmidt, Jr. and his wife Susan, Jane S. Grimmel and her husband Ed, and the late Duane S. Schmidt; dear father-in-law of Julie Schmidt; loving grandfather of Zachary Schmidt, Elizabeth Hoosier and her husband Ryan, Brianna Hamilton and her husband Justin, Matthew Schmidt, and Caroline, Clark, and Brett Grube; cherished great-grandfather of Kya Schmidt.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, 4-7 p.m., and where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Parkwood Cemetery.
