Francis Murry Sessa, Jr., age 82, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on April 22, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve Marotta Sessa; devoted father of Maria Sessa Jackson and her husband Thomas, and Thomas Joseph Sessa and his wife Julie; cherished son of the late Francis Sessa, Sr. and the late Monica Sessa; loving grandfather of Christina Bannister and her husband Thomas, Nicole Ruth and her husband Matthew, Alison and Alyssa Jackson, and Amanda, Morgan, and Daniel Sessa; cherished great-grandfather of Thomas and Nora Bannister, and Caroline Ruth; dear cousin of Edward Burgee and his wife Sherry. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 10 AM, at the Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
