Evangelia G. Pappas

Evangelia came to America in 1958. She was born to parents, Argerios and Angeliki Niaros from Patras Greece in 1932. She forged the path for her husband, sister and brother in law to come to America to join her and to raise their children and grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of George Pappas, devoted mother of Pagona Narun (Dr. Lawrence Narun), Alex Pappas (Dawn) and cherished grandmother to Eva, Rae, Leah, and Alexia Narun and Laura and George Pappas.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6-9 PM, a Trisagion Service will be held at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 2504 Cub Hill Road in Parkville on Friday, July 2, 2021, where a visitation will be held from 1:30- 2:00 pm with Funeral Service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at the Saint Demetrios Cemetery.
