Jerry, Mike and all the Kilduff's this was a sad day in my heart.  Sorry I could not show up for a couple of reasons. Anyway I remember so many great times in the back yard, horse shoes, food. Diana was one beautiful person that would would make people smile. I'm really at a loss for words. She is in a better place now . I had not seen Di in a long time and I happened to be up at the PH shopping center and heard her voice and got to talk to her for just a couple of minutes and she put a big smile on my face. Too much to mention about the greeat times I had with the family. God bless.

Diane and I worked at Commercial Credit downtown at the same time.  We would sit at the "Villa "together some nights while our husbands worked.  Spent many Christmas nights together and many dinners at Hausner's.  Lived very close to each other in Perry Hall.  Many happy memories.  Sympathies to Jerry, Kolleen and family.  Diane, you will be missed.

I was 25 years old when I met Diane.  That was the year she started working for Pete and Me at Perry Hall Heating and Air.  I had a two year old daughter and another daughter on the way.  Diane always gave me great advice on raising girls.  Like the time I came to Diane and told her my teenage daughter was buying prom dresses and how it was okay because she could hand them down to my youngest!  She laughed and said, "I dont think so!"  And she was right!  She prepared me with a lot of great life lessons when raising daughters.  I always cherrised her advice because she was such a great wife and mom.  I left the bussiness several years ago.  But, I always enjoyed stopping in and seeing Diane.  She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

My fondest memories from childhood are sitting around Aunt Di's table, eating and laughing. Big Jer telling stories and Aunt Di saying "Oh Jerry!" 
The food was amazing but, more than that, it was the love you felt sitting around that table. 
Aunt Di, you made abetter cook and, more importantly, you made me a better man by always being there for me. I miss you and I love you!

I have had the privilege to have worked with Diane for the last 26 years. I first met her in the spring of 1986. We had been in business for four years and finally gotten to the point of needing a full time secretary. She was married with a 13 year old daughter looking to get back into the work world. The office was located in one room on the top floor of a house on Belair road. Looking back I have to wonder why she stayed in the early years. I once asked her what she thought when she first came. She told me she hoped there was some other bank account financing the books she was keeping. From the attic we moved to the basement with three small windows and a single door on Oak Hill Ave. Over time the working conditions got better, the money got better, and we realized we had hired much more then a secretary. Diane embodied what would become our corporate philosophy: "Be loyal to those who are loyal to you and treat everyone fair no mater how they treat you." She soon became a big sister or mother to all who worked there. Mondays were stock up on food day. She would come to work laden with every kind of snack food imaginable. No Baloney and mustard for her,it was a deli grade sandwich always accompanied  by chips and a pickle. By Friday it was time to buy lunch and was always followed by I shouldn't have eaten that. Every day would end the same. I would here her pick up the phone make a call and say It's me I'm leaving now.I would think how sweet is that. You have indeed left us in body but will always live on in the hearts of all you have touched.

Penn ave....Aunt Di, sitting at the kitchen table, the smell of burgers with gravy in the frying pan, a enormous bowl of those delicious Italian tomatoes (did anything taste better at the summer parties???  I think not)  a half-read romance novel, her laughter....those are some of the memories I will cherish forever.  I was always welcomed by her, she made me feel like I was part of her family, a son almost, those weekends I spent (for years, I think) with Kol, Big Jer, and Aunt Di.  I'm a better man for it.  

Mother Teresa said: "Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier."  Aunt Di always made me feel this way.  You will be missed, but never forgotten.
