My Family just learned today of Mike's passing. We are so sadden to learn this kind hearted man has been taken from us. We would have been there and are so sorry we werent there to say our goodbyes yet we had no idea. Growing up in the neighborhood with All The Spangers are great Memories. We met when I was 6 and he was 8. We played together, walked to school together and even got into some trouble together. ALL of my childhood memories include Michael. Oh the stories I could tell, but won't. Michael, you were always my friend.
I love you and will see you again.

My most fondest memories are living across the alley from the Spanglers.Mike would always drive John and I around when we needed to get somewhere.Mike was always kidding us and playing practical jokes.He was a great freind and will be missed.

What can be written that hasn't already been said?  That smile, that laugh, and endless energy that could and would tackle any project.  A man who could fix absolutely anything.  He lived life to the fullest.  More than most people twice his age.  I have so many fond memories of you and Mike, Sharon.  I love you both dearly.  Can't wait to catch up with Mike again in Heaven.  I know he's up there right now laughing with all the saints...and figuring out who to prank first ;)  xoxo

Even though your physical body is gone, I can still sense your fun-loving, energetic spirit. (who's going to play jokes on us now?!) You were a wonderful, warm-hearted person & father-in-law. While you will be greatly missed here on Earth, I know you are in great peace in your true home. Until we all see you again there, may God provide your family and friends with even just half of that peace.

Most of what I know about Michael, I have learned from my precious son-in-law, Robert Spangler. What a man Michael was: Warm-hearted, friendly, fun, honest, smart, and the list could go on and on.  He welcomed Rebecca and all of our family into his home and his heart. We are so grateful for the peace that we will see him again on the other side! Thank you, Michael, and God Bless Sharon and carry her through her grief.

Dear Sharon,
I write this with a heavy heart and sadness from all of us but just thinking of Mike makes us smile. He gave us so many wonderful and funny memories. Both you & Mike have always treated me and my family as your own and I am truly grateful to have had him in my life. Just knowing him made our lives a lot brighter!

I'm very sorry for Mike's family and friends, he was way too young to leave us.  A great memory was when I was around 6 or 7 and Mike was 13 or 14, I was visiting Aunt Theresa's.  Kenny and I were playing cars on the living room floor.  I heard a "watch this" and Mike then jumped down the entire flight of stairs...several times, crashing into the wall.  I watched in amazement and I don't think Kenny even flinched.  He was truly one of a kind.

Sharon, we are so sorry for your loss.  Mike was a great guy and we were so happy that you both were able to attend Jenn and Ryan's wedding.  Mike will be missed.
