Charles Joseph Kahl, Sr., age 91, of Baltimore, MD passed away on October 12, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Louisa May Kahl (nee Olcott); devoted father of Bonnie M. Klein and her husband W. Joseph, Charles “Chuck” Kahl and his wife Joan, George W. Kahl and his wife Tracey, and William “Bill” Kahl and his wife Regina; loving grandfather of Charles Kahl, III and his wife Kasey, Rosalie Kahl, Rene Roddam and her husband Howard C. Roddam, IV, and Lori Kahl and her fiancé Joshua Carnahan; cherished great-grandfather of Howard Clifton Roddam, V; dear brother of Paul Kahl and his late wife Joyce, and the late Shirley McCulloch and her late husband Robert. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 3-5 P.M and 7-9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:30 A.M at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
