With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene A. (nee. Snider) Lambeth, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Arlene departed from this world on March 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Arlene is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Lindsey Ronald Lambeth, who stood by her side through every joy and challenge that life presented. She is predeceased by her loving parents Harold and Irene Snider. She leaves behind her adoring children, Debra Lambeth Zuna and her husband Jim of Westminster, MD, and David Lambeth and his wife Tracey of Bel Air, MD. Arlene's love extended to her four grandchildren, Jim Zuna. Jr. of Hagerstown, MD, Christy (Zuna) Miller and her husband Kevin of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Tyler Lambeth of Perry Hall, MD, and Sarah Lambeth of Bel Air, MD. Also, her great-granddaughter Jordan Bishop of Anderson, SC, and her loving brother Paul Snider and his wife Kathy. Arlene also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Sandy Soul, brother-in-law, Wade Lambeth, their families, and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arlene was known for her immense love and kindness, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her family was her pride and joy, and her affection for them was immeasurable. She will be remembered for the love she shared and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
Arlene and her husband Ron, an assistant pastor, were devoted members of the Victoria Villa Community Church in Middle River, Maryland, where they found solace and community. Arlene's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Born on January 3, 1936, in Baltimore and a resident of Middle River, Maryland, for most of her life, Arlene dedicated herself to her family, community and career. She spent many years working in the Accounts Payable department at St. Joseph's Hospital, where her professionalism and dedication were admired by all who knew her. In her leisure time, Arlene found joy in collecting Boyd's bears, indulging in romance novels—especially those by her favorite author, Danielle Steel—and showcased her talent for sewing. Her cooking skills were unmatched, with her famous potato salad being a beloved family favorite.
Arlene’s departure from this world leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence. Though she may be gone, and missed beyond measure, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones for generations to come.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
