On March 18, 2013, Alpha “Pop” Franklin Huffman, 95, passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Amelia Huffman (nee Vanik); beloved father of Thomas Huffman and his wife Mary and the late Francis John Huffman and his wife Rosalie (nee Commodari). He was the cherished brother of Jeannet Cape, Doris Louise Gibson and the late Jack Huffman; devoted grandfather of Cathy Henry, Kristina Davies, Michele Huffman, Allen Huffman and Emilie Huffman; dear great-grandfather of Corey and Angela Henry.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Joseph Church, Fullerton on Friday at 9:30 am with interment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
