William H. Ledbetter Jr.

William H. Ledbetter, Jr., 79 years old, of Norwood, MA passed away on September 9, 2023.

He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend.

William is survived by his loving wife, Carol (McCarthy) Ledbetter; brothers, Thomas M. (and his wife Carol) of Roslindale, Paul F. of Hyde Park, and brother In-law, Paul Whittaker of New Jersey.

He was born and raised in Boston, son of the late William H. Ledbetter, Sr. and Mary (Curley) Ledbetter.

Bill was a retired Electrician for Raytheon, a lifelong member and Past Grand Knight of Mount Pleasant Council Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Blue Hills Regional High School.

Services from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Friday, September 15 at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11:00 AM. Visiting Hours in the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
