Thomas Souza

Born in Attleboro on February 22, 1954, he was a loving son of the late Orlando “John” and Marie (McCarthy) Souza. Tom grew up in Mansfield, MA, and was a proud graduate of Mansfield High School (‘72), Dartmouth College (‘76 BA), and Brown University (‘77 MA).

Tom was a modern day Renaissance man with many passions, the greatest of which was travel. Tom was fortunate to have traveled the world through his many years of work as a travel executive. His travels enriched his many other interests including music, literature, sports, art, film, food and more. In spite of all of his travels, Tom’s favorite place was on the deck of his house on Cape Cod, surrounded by family and friends.

Tom is survived by his adored children, Kyle and Alexandra-Marie Souza. He was the loving brother of Jack Souza and his wife Carole of Mansfield, Bob Souza and his wife Patricia of Mansfield, Paul Souza and his wife Jill of Indianapolis, and Janet Moreshead and her husband Dan of Mansfield.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23rd from 3 to 7pm at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.
