Shirley A. Praino

Daughter of the late Frederick and Anne (Vaikasas) Meyer. Beloved wife of the late Edward B. Praino. Loving mother of Sandra Landers and her late husband Charles of Richardson, TX, Brenda Sweeney and her husband Kevin of Norwood, Michael Praino and his wife Kathy of West Bridgewater, Dianne Methe of Medway and Dennis Praino of Wareham.

Cherished grandmother of Melissa Henry and her husband Eric, Kathleen O’Brien and her husband Joseph, Brendan Sweeney and his wife Marion, Matthew Sweeney, Suzanne Cronin and her husband Mike, Robert Methe, Devin Praino and his wife Ashley and Meghan Praino. Adored great–grandmother of Daniel, Connor, Claire, Timothy, Teagan, Abigail and Hannah.

Loving sister of the late John F. and Patricia Meyer. Dear sister-in-law of Marcia Praino, Gerard Praino, Marie Hand, John Praino,Margaret Ryan and the late Marion Sands, Madeline Pruell and Robert Praino. Shirley is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.

Shirley was a devoted member and communicant of the St. Catherine of Siena Parish. For over 35 years, she worked as a travel coordinator at Factory Mutual. Shirley will be fondly remembered for making treasured memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the greatest joys of her life.

Funeral Service from Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood, Tuesday , March 12th at 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Monday, March 11th from 4:00-8:00pm.
