He was the beloved husband of Ann M. (Kennedy) Wakely, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.
Born in Bangor Maine, he was the son of the late Kenneth W. and Arlyne J. (Barchard) Wakely
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bentley University, Waltham, MA. Until his passing,
Mr. Wakely was the Chief Financial Officer for Subaru of New England. He also served as Treasurer for the Boch Family Foundation.
In addition to his dear wife Ann, those left to cherish his memory are his son Nicholas K. Wakely of Walpole; sister Kathryn Wakely of Brewer Maine and her daughters Amanda Wakely and Stacie King as well as his brother Timothy Wakely of Florida.
His funeral will be held on June 16th from Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood, MA with a funeral Mass at 10:30 am in St. Timothy Catholic Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood, MA. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Walpole. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 3-7pm in the funeral home.
