Paul J. Handrahan

Paul J. Handrahan, age 72, of Norwood, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Katherine (Hannon) and Cornelius Handrahan. Paul worked for many years for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Masonic Celestial Lodge in Westwood, and Order of the Eastern Star. Paul was a member of the Widows Sons Massachusetts Grand Chapter.

Paul was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Chute) Handrahan of Norwood. He was the devoted father of Angela and her husband Juan Carlos Castaneda of Jamaica Plain, Linda and her husband George Olivencia, III of Temple TX, and Henry Paul Handrahan of Wiscasset ME. Paul was the brother of Mark Handrahan and his wife Jane of South Boston, the late John and his surviving wife Deborah Handrahan of Cape Cod, and the late Neal Handrahan. He was the proud grandfather of Giancarlo, Geovania, Nicholas, Alexandra, Hope, Raven, and the late Makinzlee, and is survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning, beginning at 10 AM prior to the Funeral Service in The First Congregational Church of Norwood, 100 Winter Street, Norwood at 11 AM.
