Patricia Mak

Patty worked as an advertising sales representative for the Boston Globe for over 20 years, more recently for Gatehouse Media. She also worked for Marriott as an event planner for many years.

Beloved daughter of Pearl (Wu) Mak of Hyde Park and the late Kee Shing Mak; loving wife of Michael Folan of Canton; cherished sister of Paul Mak and his wife Ellen of Milton and Pauline McCue and Tom Caridi of Norwood, aunt of Kyle, Audrey and Andrew. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in the Folan family. Patty is now reunited with her beloved, late dog “Brady.”

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 7:00pm in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood. Calling hours will held on Saturday from 4:00-7:00pm, prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Patricia Mak may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
