Marilyn A. (Reed) Hollowell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Marilyn Hollowell at the age of 73.

Born and raised in Brookline, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Reid) Reed. Marilyn attended Brookline schools, raised a family and worked for the disabled for 45+ years.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late John Hollowell, the devoted mother of Dawn Hollowell of Wrentham, Anne and her husband John Costa of Norwood, and Mark and his wife Kelly of Wrentham. She was the sister of Charles Reed of Wellesley, Patricia Reed and her husband David Kotlarowski of Taunton, the late Richard Reed, and his surviving wife Ann of Roslindale. She was the proud grandmother of Grace and Isla Hollowell, and is survived by nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Friday March 31, 2023 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery, Brookline.
