Judith H. Menges

A native of Norwood MA, Judith was a 1984 graduate of Norwood High School. Judith graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in the Visual Arts-Studio. Trained in the fine arts, she was invited to paint murals that once adorned the walls of the children’s department at the Morrill Memorial Library in Norwood. After working in the Boston area, Judith moved to Long Beach on Long Island, NY with her then husband, Charles Menges III. There she earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Science at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University. Most recently, Judith considered Atlanta, GA her home with its warmth and hospitality and a close group of friends with whom she enjoyed live music, volunteer activities and trips to the shore.

Judith is predeceased by her father, Francis W. Kaseta, Ph. D. Judith is survived by: her mother, Joyce-Ellen (Tulis) Kaseta; her sister, Lauren Moriarty and her husband Paul; her brother, Daniel Kaseta; her sister, Diane Phillips and her husband Christopher; her niece, Caitlin Moriarty; and her nephew, Luke Phillips. Judith is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.

Relatives and friends are invited to Judith’s memorial visitation on Saturday, March 9 from 10:00am – 12:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood.
