Joseph "Joe" M. Lazzara

LAZZARA, Joseph M. “Joe” 73, of Dennisport, and formerly of Tewksbury and Norwood, Thursday August 17. Son of the late Etori “Edward” and Josephine (Giannone) Lazzara. Devoted father of Suzanne Ceruti and her husband Dennis of Upton, Rachele Lazzara and her husband Massimo Curtotti of Medicina Italy, Karen Lazzara and her Fiance Richard Morning of Lowell, and Denise Lazzara of Fitchburg. Cherished grandfather of Josephine, Allison, Maria, and Antonia Ceruti, Chiara and Alessia Curtotti, Jocelyn and Constance Morning, and the late Kaleb Morning. Loving brother of Constance McTernan, Anthony, Edward, Charles, and James Lazzara, Marie Colella, and the late Margaret Lazzara-Cookman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lazzara was a U.S. NAVY, Vietnam War Veteran, and was the Proprietor of First Bancorp Mortgage. Visiting hours will be held from 10 – 12 on Wednesday August 23 in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rt. 1A), NORWOOD, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment Private.
