Jody Haley

HALEY, Jody (Mazur), 61, of Medfield, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Bridgeport, CT on April 24, 1953, she was the daughter of Rhoda (Simmons) Mazur of Monroe CT, and the late Dr. George J. Mazur. She was a graduate of Andrew Ward High School in Fairfield, CT and Cornell University. She was a teacher in the Boston Public Schools for over 37 years. Jody was the beloved wife of Dennis Haley of Medfield; the loving step-mother of Jennifer and her husband, Sean Donovan of E. Bridgewater and Jillian and her wife, Sheila Freitas-Haley of Stoneham; the cherished “mimi” of Evelyn, Ronan, Gavin and Celia; the dear sister of Eric Mazur and his wife, Abby of Weston, CT and Ellen and her husband, Donald Thompson of Natick; the adored aunt of Jamie Mazur and his wife, Carianne and their children, Haley and Lana of Avon, CT and Jason and Brittany Mazur of Bloomington, CT. She is also survived by many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 23, at 11:00 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD. Burial will follow the service at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 22, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
